The Ribbon rocking chair is a contemporary rocking chair in ash or walnut, leather and stainless steel. Inspired by a sculpture by Naum Gabo, the backrest, armrests and runners are made from one continuous piece creating a single fluid form that is light, both visually and physically. It consists of three main component parts: the laminated wood ‘ribbon’; the leather covered plywood seat shell and the stainless steel rod framework which work together resulting in a rigid structure of great strength.
