		Katie Walker formed Katie Walker Furniture to design and produce innovative furniture. Working with private clients, interior designers and architects, she has built an extensive portfolio of designs for both site specific commissions and pieces for production that have achieve considerable acclaim. Each design combines function with a strong sculptural interpretation of its structure resulting in furniture which has a unique contemporary style. Each piece is characterised by the use of laminated hardwoods and the underlying belief that ãtimber is our primary natural renewable resource and that the most ecologically sound solution is to design with longevity in mindä. The furniture, with its unique contemporary style, is made from selected timbers and hand finished, this allows for flexibility of detail and ensures high quality throughout.
